Save the slum initiative
We are an NGO in Nigeria and this is what we do Save the Slum Initiative is voluntary non – profit organization which was established in 2016.
The organization, is committed to reshaping the lives of the under privileged by working with them to Seek ways in which improve their lives, then work with them on various aspects.
We work to bring about long term and sustainable transformation to their quality of life by facilitating the provision of better community-based, Healthcare, empowerment, education and environmental improvement.
The Save the slum initiative is made up of volunteers who are both passionate and committed to saving lives ad uplifting the less privileged . In its years of existence, we have carried out some no of activities. In Lagos, Ogun .
we carried out project smile ijora In ijora Badia January 5-7 2017 , and also project smile Makoko in june 1-3, 2017 at Makoko,Yaba Lagos.
We carried out environment awareness/ Sanitation, Funfair for children, inspirational talks ranging from sex education, violence preventions,self esteem, moral, organize medical checkup for all ages and many more.
In the course of our work we have had the honour of partnering with organization like hican initiative, leumas property and persons who have contributed like Wazobia fm, Pastor Nomthi Odukoya, OAPS like willy willy of Wazobia FM Abuja, kodydkodinator, uzo,RatataNation of Wazobia Fm Lagos and sheye of kiss FM Lagos.
Save the slum Initiative have worked in two number of states so far.
